Main Duties

Membership of a relevant professional body (desirable)
-
Be prepared to undertake development training as indicated by the Group Health and Safety Manager.

Experience in Safety and Environmental management within a similar industry
-
Ability to be assertive/influential and be able to communicate at all levels.
-
Have a sound understanding of Tanzania Health and Safety legislation. [The Occupational Health and Safety Act 2003]
-
Have a thorough understanding of the Company HSELP.
-
Be able to identify hazards throughout the business.
-
Have sufficient knowledge to be able to suggest to management appropriate control measures.
-
A recognized qualification in Health, Safety and Environmental Management or similar
-
Be able to audit company HSE standards and procedures and write appropriate reports to Management.
-
Be competent in using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook to produce written reports and databases and disseminate the information to the appropriate bodies or persons.

- Yes to Mwanza, Geita Mine,Mara Mine.
